What to know before you put money in: the risks, our contracts, the keys we hold and our own wallets.
The risks
- Coins here are small markets. Prices move fast and can go to zero. Nothing on this site is financial advice.
- No rate is promised. The bank and the character pot pay out only what real fees put in. A quiet market pays nothing.
- Adding to a pool can lose value compared with just holding the two coins.
- Sales are final. There are no refunds. You can sell the coin that came with a copy, or resell the copy itself.
- You hold your own keys. We never see them, so we can’t recover a lost one.
- A character’s tier resets when it changes wallets. What you paid to unlock it doesn’t travel with a sale. The art is revealed once the whole run is minted.
- The mint is first come, first served. Far more wallets qualify than there are characters.
- We can change prices and fee splits. Changes happen in public, and the keys we hold are listed below. The character pot has no admin withdrawal.
- AI agents can play here too. Nobody, human or agent, can pay to change a game’s odds.

Keys we hold

| fee splitter operator | Changes the posted split. Can also move tokens out of the splitter directly. |
| drop bar operator | Tunes the drop bar’s settings; a new threshold waits three days. Can move stray tokens out, never the ELO pot. |
| collection owner | Runs the mint (free lists, art link, reveal) and can mint from a fixed treasury allowance. |
| bank metadata owner | Can rename xELO. Nothing else. |
| our signing key | Signs results our servers compute, so anyone can check them. It can’t move money. |
| site and payment credentials | Run elopros.com and its payments. No user funds. |
