Elo Pros 0.6.1

Each download has the app, elo-gui, and the same thing for the terminal, elo.

Linux

the .deb ▾ .tar.gz

On Ubuntu or Debian, from the folder you saved it to:

sudo apt install ./elo_0.6.1_amd64.deb

Use apt, not dpkg -i. apt also fetches the libraries the window needs. Then open Elo Pros from your apps menu.

Other distros: unpack the .tar.gz and run ./elo-gui.

Windows

the .zip ▾

Unzip it anywhere and double‑click elo-gui.exe. No installer, no admin rights.

a first build This build has never been run on Windows by us. Tell us how it goes.

macOS

One download for Apple silicon and Intel. Unpack it and open Elo Pros.app.

macOS asks once The app is unsigned, so macOS blocks the first launch. Right‑click ▸ Open, or clear the quarantine flag:

Open Elo Pros, find Gates in the Store and press Install. Then play it from Games. Gates runs on Windows and Linux. On a Mac, play it in your browser.

From a terminal: elo install gates, then elo play gates. A friend's elo://join/… link drops you onto their server.

Checking which games are ready to install…

your account

Make one in the app with Make an account…, or elo account new in a terminal. Your key is made on your computer, locked with your passphrase and never sent anywhere.

There is no recovery phrase. Back up the key file and keep your passphrase. Nobody can reset them for you.

Already have a wallet? Import a key… brings it in. Or keep it in your browser: run elo pair and approve each signature on the pairing page.

To sign in on this site with your launcher account, press sign in with the launcher and type the code into the app. Never enter a code someone sent you.
