Lend the launcher your wallet
The desktop launcher can sign with the wallet you already have here, instead of holding a key of its own. You approve every message, one at a time, in this tab.
1 · type the code the launcher shows
Run elo pair in the launcher. It prints a
code like ABCD-2345, good for ten minutes.
Letters and digits. I, L, O, 0 and 1 are never in a code, so a lookalike is a typo.
2 · check what you are signing
Your wallet will show exactly this. It authorises no spending and moves nothing.
Paired
The launcher can now ask to sign. Leave this
tab open — closing it ends the connection, and nothing is stored on any
server that could sign for you.
Nothing to approve right now. When the launcher asks, the exact message appears here.
What this can and cannot do
- Messages only. Nothing on this page can move a coin, swap, or approve a token. Buying a copy still happens in your wallet, on the store page.
- One at a time. There is no "always allow". Every request is shown here in full and again in your wallet.
- No sign-ins. A request that looks like a login to any site is refused before it reaches you — so this door cannot be used to sign you in anywhere.
- Nothing to revoke later. The pairing lives in this tab and expires on its own. Closing the tab is the off switch.
Made your wallet in the launcher instead? Then you want the other direction — sign this site in with the launcher.
