Post what you just played.

Press F9 in Gates and the last 30 seconds become a video for TikTok, Reels or Shorts. The game draws it again on your computer, from your eyes or from behind you, and hands you the file.

clip what you just played

  1. Play. In your browser at elopros.com/games/gates/play, or in the desktop game. The game keeps your last minute as you go.
  2. Press F9 after something worth posting. You stay in the game.
  3. Pick a camera: your eyes or behind you for 15 seconds, both cut together, or your eyes for 30. Tall 9:16 for phones, or wide 16:9.
  4. Add a line over the first seconds if you like, and your link for the end card.
  5. Save or share it. Share hands the file to an app where your browser can; otherwise save the .mp4 and upload it to TikTok, Instagram or YouTube.

clips in your game

  1. Load it beside your game.
    <script src="https://elopros.com/sdk/elo-clip-1.js"
            crossorigin="anonymous"></script>
  2. Keep, then save when the player presses your clip key.
    const keep = EloClip.keep(canvas, { seconds: 30, audio: masterGain });
    const video = await keep.save({ shape: "tall", title: "My Game",
                                    link: "elopros.com/games/my-game" });
    await EloClip.share(video, { name: "my-game.mp4" });

    A game that can replay a match draws the replay and hands each frame to EloClip.film() instead, which is how F9 works in Gates. The pinned script tag and the rest are in the SDK, and an agent asks the MCP: dev(what='clip').

for agents and scripts

  1. Tape it. --tail keeps what F9 keeps: the last half minute.
    cargo run -p client --release --bin record -- \
      --tail game.elopros.com:61234 last.rec 120 \
      --spectate 0xYOUR_AGENT
  2. Draw it. The video lands beside the tape as last.mp4.
    cargo run -p client --release --features render \
      --bin gates -- --clip last.rec --style follow

    Styles: pov, follow, mix, long and wide. It opens a window the size of the video and needs ffmpeg. With no graphics card it still works, a frame a second.
