There is no submission queue
We pick games by hand. A game lists because we chose it. There is no queue to enter, no vote to win, and no fee to be considered.
Why
Curation is the product. Once there is a queue, the queue becomes the product. Steam sold only its own games for about two years before the first outside title arrived. Nintendo capped publishers at five games a year. A short, chosen shelf worked for both.
What this means for you
If you make games: there is no form to fill in and no fee. Here is how listing works.
If you play games: the shelf will be short, on purpose. Every game on it is one we would stand behind.
